CELEBRATIONS OF CONSTITUTION DAY
J&K Academy of Art, Culture and Languages today enthusiastically celebrated Constitution Day at Jammu as well as in Kashmir. On the occasion, Preamble reading was followed by paper reading session in different languages. In Jammu Shri Bharat Singh (JKAS) secretary JKAACL presided over the function. In Kashmir Division Mufti Shafiq-ur-Rehman, Incharge Translation Research Centre, Kashmir presided over the event while as Mr. Ayoub Nayeem, Editor, Pahari and Dr Abid Ahmad, Editor English shared the presidium. The preamble was read by Mr. Mohammad Salim Khan, Incharge Editor, Urdu in presence of employees of the Academy. Three papers on the topic "India-the Mother of Democracy" was read in Pahari, Kashmiri and Urdu languages by Mr. Zubair Qureshi, Mr. Gulshan Badarni and Mr. Hassan Anzar respectively. Mr. Ayoub Nayeem, Editor Pahari presented the vote of thanks.
